Osteoporosis causes bones literally unusually porous, which is more compressible like a sponge, as dense as a brick. The disease weakens the skeletal bones leading to an increased risk of broken bones (fractures).
Bone is composed of normal proteins, collagen, calcium and all the bones that give her strength. The bones affected by osteoporosis can break (fracture), with relatively minor injuries that normally would not cause a bone fracture. The failure may be in the form of cracks (as in a hip fracture), or the collapse (as in a compression fracture of the vertebra of the spine). The spine, hips and wrists are areas of fractures from osteoporosis, although osteoporosis-related fractures can also occur in almost all the bones of the skeleton.

What are the factors that determine bone strength?

The bone mass (bone density) is the amount of bone in the skeletal structure. Typically, the more bone density is greatest are the bones. The bone density is greatly influenced by genetic factors, which in turn are sometimes modified by environmental factors and medicines. For example, men have greater bone density than women. Afro-Americans have a higher bone density than white or Asian Americans.
Normally, bone density accumulates during childhood and reached a peak of about 25 years. The bone density is then maintained for a decade. After age 35, both men and women normally lose 0.3% to 0.5% of their bone mass per year as part of the aging process.

Estrogen is important for maintaining bone density in women. When rates decline of estrogen after menopause, bone loss accelerates. During the first five to ten years after menopause, women may undergo up to two to four per cent loss of bone density per year! This can lead to the loss of up to 25 to 30% of their bone density during this period. Accelerated bone loss after menopause is a major cause of osteoporosis in women.

Diet
a) calcium. Calcium is a mineral that is important for bone health. It is a cornerstone of the bone. Food remains the best source of calcium. Dairy products are rich in calcium, while some green vegetables and other foods contain calcium in smaller quantities.

For people who have trouble digesting dairy products because of lactose intolerance, lactose-free dairy products and lactase enzyme pills are also available.

Calcium-fortified foods and calcium supplements are useful for people who are unable to get enough calcium in their diet. Some fruit juices, breakfast foods, soy milk, cereals, snacks, bread and bottled water have calcium has been added. If you drink soy milk that is fortified with calcium, make sure you shake the container
Although calcium can settle to the bottom.

b) The vitamin D. Vitamin D is important because it helps your body use calcium. If you do not get enough vitamin D or if your body does not absorb well, you are at much greater risk for bone loss and osteoporosis. Vitamin D plays an important role in protecting your bones. Your body needs vitamin D to absorb calcium. Children need vitamin D to strengthen bones and adults need to keep bones strong and healthy. When people are not getting enough vitamin D, they may lose bone. Studies show that people with low levels of vitamin D have lower bone density or bone mass. They are also more likely to break bones when they are older.
Grave vitamin D deficiency is rare in the USA. It can cause a disease known as osteomalacia in which the bones become soft. In children, is known as rickets. It is a different state of osteoporosis.

There are three ways to get vitamin D:

- The sunlight
- food.
Foods that have vitamin D include oily fish (for example, are mackerel, salmon and tuna), egg yolks and liver
- supplements and medicines

c) phosphorus. As calcium, phosphorus is a part of the bone. Because this mineral is naturally present in many foods, most people are quite phosphorus. It is sometimes added to processed foods and soft drinks as phosphate and phosphoric acid. While some experts say that Americans May start doing too much phosphorus, many experts believe that the contribution of phosphorus is not a problem as long as people get enough calcium.

d) Other minerals and vitamins. Magnesium, vitamin K, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 are some of the many vitamins and minerals that are important to bone health. If you eat a balanced diet, you should be enough of these nutrients. Most experts recommend multivitamin supplements or for people who do not get what they need food.

e) Protein. Eating foods that provide protein is important for your health. But a very high-protein diet, especially animal protein, causing a loss of calcium by the kidneys. You can compensate for the loss of calcium get enough calcium to meet your needs of the body.

f) The caffeine. It is found naturally in coffee and tea, caffeine is often added to soft drinks. Caffeine May decrease calcium absorption. A study suggests that consumption of alcohol 330 mg of caffeine, about four cups of coffee a day, increases the risk of fractures. To protect your bones, try not to have too much to drink caffeine every day. You can also compensate for the loss of calcium from drinking caffeine, but increase your intake of calcium.

g) Soft Drinks. Some people worry that the phosphorus and / or caffeine in some soft drinks May damage bone health. Other experts suggest the damage to the bone is caused by people replacing soft drinks for milk and juice fortified with calcium. In other words, when soft drinks take the place of milk and other sources of calcium, bone health May be affected.

h) of sodium (salt). Eating foods that have a large number of sodium May lower your body's ability to retain calcium. Eating too much sodium is bad for the bones and can cause bone loss. Try cooking without adding additional salt, and limiting salty snacks and processed food you eat.

i) spinach. Spinach contains high levels of oxalates. Oxalate prevents the body to absorb calcium from spinach. The body can absorb calcium found in most other green vegetables such as broccoli and cabbage. Although spinach can be part of a healthy diet, it can not be regarded as a source of calcium. It does not affect the absorption of calcium from other foods.

j) of wheat. 100% wheat is the only food that appears to reduce the absorption of calcium in other foods that are consumed at the same time. If you take calcium supplements, May you want to take your extra two hours or more before or after eating all foods with 100% wheat. Although wheat May interfere with the absorption of calcium, foods with wheat are still considered as part of a healthy diet.

Other factors affecting bone health

a) Lifestyle inactive. People who are bedridden, are inactive or do not exercise at high risk of osteoporosis. Certain types of regular exercise can help keep bones strong.
b) The use of tobacco. Smoking is bad for the bones, in many respects. The chemicals in cigarettes are bad for your bone cells. Smoking can also make it harder to absorb calcium. For women, smoking can prevent estrogen to protect bones.
c) alcohol abuse. Drinking can greatly reduce bone formation. In many cases, people who drink too much do not get enough calcium. Drinking May also affect your agency offers calcium. In addition, drinking too much is bad for your health and can make you more likely to fall. So many people break bones. The alcohol in small quantities, however, did not affect bone health. This usually means no more than two drinks per day.

Dengue Haemorrhagic

Dengue haemorrhagic dengue fever transmitted by the bite of an Aedes mosquito infected with one of the four dengue viruses. It occurs in tropical and subtropical areas of the world. Symptoms appear 3-14 days after the infected bite. Dengue fever is a febrile illness that affects infants, young children and adults. Symptoms range from a mild fever that crippling high fever, severe headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pain and rash. There is no specific anti-viral medicine for dengue. It is important to maintain hydration. Use of aspirin (aspirin) and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen) is not recommended. Dengue haemorrhagic fever (fever, abdominal pain, vomiting, bleeding) is a potentially deadly complication that affects mainly children. Early clinical diagnosis and careful clinical management of experienced doctors and nurses increase the survival of patients.
DHF was first recognized in the 1950s during the dengue epidemics in the Philippines and Thai-land. By 1970 nine countries had experienced DHF epidemic, and now the number has increased more than fourfold and continues to rise. Today's new DHF cases, the cause of increased dengue epidemics in America and in Asia, where all four dengue virus is endemic, DHF has become a leading cause of hospitalisation and death among children in several countries.
According to the WHO definition of dengue haemorrhagic fever have been in use since 1975, all four criteria must be met:
1.Fever, bladder problems, constant headaches, severe dizziness and loss of appetite.
2.Hemorrhagic trend (tourniquet test positive, spontaneous bruising, bleeding from mucous membranes, gingiva, injection sites, etc., vomiting blood or bloody diarrhoea)
3.Thrombocytopenia (<100000 style="font-weight: bold;">Dengue haemorrhagic dengue fever

Dengue fever is transmitted by the bite of an infected mosquito Aedes with one of the four dengue viruses. Enhanced oral fluid intake is recommended to avoid dehydration. Supplementation with intravenous fluids publication may be necessary to avoid dehydration and significant concentration of blood, if the patient is unable to maintain revenue. A platelet transfusion is in rare cases, and if the level of platelet count falls sharply (20000), or significant bleeding.

The presence of melena may indicate internal gastro-intestinal bleeding, platelet and / or red blood cell transfusion.
Aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should be avoided, as these drugs may worsen the bleeding tendency of some of these infections. Patients may receive paracetamol preparations for the treatment of these symptoms when suspected dengue fever.

New evidence suggests that ribavirin and mycophenolic acid dengue inhibit replication. First trials showed a fivefold increase in viral RNA production of defective cells treated with any substance. In vivo studies have not yet done so.

Prevention

There are no commercially available vaccine for dengue flavivirus. But one of the many ongoing vaccine development programmes are Radiology Pediatric Dengue Vaccine Initiative, established in 2003 with the aim to accelerate the development and introduction of dengue vaccine (s), affordable and accessible to poor children in endemic countries. Thai researchers are testing a vaccine dengue fever in human volunteers 3000-5000, after it successfully conducted tests on animals and a small group of human volunteers. A number of other vaccine candidates are in phase I or II test.

Mosquito control

Primary prevention of dengue mainly resides in mosquito control. There are basically two methods: larvae and adult mosquito control. In urban areas Aedes mosquitoes breed in water collections in artificial containers such as plastic cups, used tyres, broken bottles, flower pots, etc. continued and sustained reduction in artificial containers or periodic draining of artificial containers are the most effective way to reduce larvae and thus Aedes mosquitoes load in the community. LARVICIDE treatment is another effective means to monitor the vector-larvae, but LARVICIDE be durable and should preferably have the World Health Organization cleared for use in drinking water.
There are some very effective insect growth regulators (IGR `s) that are both safe and long alasting as pyriproxyfen. To reduce the adult mosquito exposure, mist with insecticides are not very effective.

Avoiding mosquito bites is another way to prevent disease. Encourage children to a water bug, crustaceans Mesocyclops, water tanks and discarded containers where Aedes aegypti mosquitoes were known to thrive. This method is cheaper and more environmentally friendly than pesticides, though not as effective, and requires the continuous participation of the community.

Dandruff...Dandruff... !!!! Store may vary depending on severity - there may be mild, moderate or heavy. Seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp is a form of dandruff, but treatment can shed a little patience and perseverance. In general, mild scaling can often be helped by daily cleaning with a gentle shampoo to reduce oiliness and cell structure.

How does dandruff occur?

Skin cells are constantly renewing themselves. When skin cells on the scalp are renewed, the old ones are pushed to the surface and come away from the scalp.
If you have dandruff, skin renewal occurs twice as fast, so more dead skin is shed, making your dandruff more noticeable.
Mild dandruff can affect anyone, but it tends to affect males more than females. Dandruff often occurs after puberty, between 20-30 years of age.
Dandruff usually responds well to treatment, although it can reoccur at any time

Causes

At one time or another, dandruff causes have been attributed to dry skin, oily skin, shampooing too often or not often enough, a poor diet, stress, and the use of too many fancy styling products. Although some of these factors may exacerbate or contribute to scalp flaking, the real culprit may be a fat-eating, yeast-like fungus called malassezia, formerly known as pityrosporum.
Malassezia lives on the scalps of most healthy adults without causing problems. But sometimes it grows out of control, feeding on the oils secreted by your hair follicles and causing irritation that leads to increased cell turnover. The result is a large number of dead skin cells. As the cells fall off, they tend to clump together with oil from your hair and scalp, making them appear white, flaky and all too visible.

Exactly what causes an overgrowth of these organisms isn't known, although increased oil production; hormonal fluctuations; stress; illness; neurological disorders, such as Parkinson's disease; a suppressed immune system; infrequent shampooing and extra sensitivity to the malassezia fungus may contribute to the development of dandruff.
As the epidermal layer continually replaces itself, cells are pushed outward where they eventually die and flake off. In most people, these flakes of skin are too small to be visible. However, certain conditions cause cell turnover to be unusually rapid, especially in the scalp. For people with dandruff, skin cells may mature and be shed in 2 - 7 days, as opposed to around a month in people without dandruff. The result is that dead skin cells are shed in large, oily clumps, which appear as white or grayish patches on the scalp, skin, and clothes.

Dandruff has been shown to be the result of three required factors:
1. Skin oil commonly referred to as sebum or sebaceous secretions
2. The metabolic by-products of skin micro-organisms (most specifically Malassezia yeasts)
3. Individual susceptibility

Risk factors

Almost any adult is a candidate for dandruff, but certain factors can make you more susceptible:
· Age. Dandruff usually begins in young adulthood and continues through middle age. That doesn't mean older adults don't get dandruff, however. For some people, the problem can be lifelong.
· Sex. Because more men than women have dandruff, some researchers think male hormones may play a role in dandruff. Men also have larger sebaceous glands that produce an oil called sebum.
· Oily hair and scalp. Malassezia feeds on oils in your scalp. For that reason, having excessively oily skin and hair makes you more prone to dandruff.
· Certain illnesses. For reasons that aren't clear, adults with neurological diseases, such as Parkinson's disease, are more likely to develop seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff. So are people recovering from stressful conditions, particularly heart attack and stroke, and those with compromised immune systems.
Treatments and drugs

When regular shampoos fail, OTC dandruff shampoos may succeed. But dandruff shampoos aren't all alike, and you may need to experiment until you find one that works best for you. Dandruff shampoos are classified according to their active ingredient:
· Zinc pyrithione shampoos (Selsun Salon, Head & Shoulders). These contain the antibacterial and antifungal agent zinc pyrithione, which has been shown to reduce the fungus that causes dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.
· Tar-based shampoos (Neutrogena T/Gel). Coal tar, a byproduct of the coal manufacturing process, helps conditions such as dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis by slowing cell turnover.
· Shampoos containing salicylic acid (Ionil T). These "scalp scrubs" help eliminate scale, but they may leave your scalp dry, leading to more flaking. Using a conditioner after shampooing can help counter dryness.
· Selenium sulfide shampoos (Selsun Blue). These shampoos help prevent cell turnover and may also reduce the number of malassezia. Because they can discolor blonde, gray or chemically colored hair, be sure to use them only as directed and to rinse well after shampooing.
· Ketoconazole shampoos (Nizoral). The newest addition to the dandruff armamentarium, ketoconazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent that may work when other shampoos fail. It's available over-the-counter as well as by prescription.
Try using one of these shampoos daily until your dandruff is controlled, then cut back to two or three times a week. If one type of shampoo works for a time and then seems to lose its effectiveness, try alternating between two types of dandruff shampoos. Be sure to leave the shampoo on for at least five minutes — this allows the ingredients time to work.
If you've shampooed faithfully for several weeks and there's still a dusting of dandruff on your shoulders, talk to your doctor or dermatologist. You may need a prescription-strength shampoo or more aggressive treatment with a steroid lotion.

Dandruff treatments

Shampoos scalp and preparations to help treat dandruff are available over-the-counter (OTC) in your local pharmacy, and most supermarkets. However, seborrhoeic dermatitis can be controlled through the use of these but not cured.
Antifungal shampoos work by treating infections by inhibiting the growth of fungi that cause them. Before using an antifungal shampoo, you should try to remove any crusty or scaly, patches of your scalp. This will help to improve the effectiveness of shampoo.
For men, anti-dandruff shampoo can also be applied to your beard if it is assigned.
Alternative medicine
Although many so-called home remedies for dandruff, a therapy that appears to be effective everyday shampoo with tea tree oil. Oil tea tree, which is extracted from leaves of the Australian tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) has been used for centuries as an antiseptic, antibiotics and antifungal. It is now included in a number of shampoos found in health food stores. The oil is generally well tolerated, but May cause allergic reactions in some people.

Prevention

In adults, dandruff (seborrhoeic dermatitis) is likely to reoccur several times during your life.
Unfortunately, there is not much that you can do to prevent dandruff occurring. However, using an anti-dandruff, or anti-fungal, shampoo, once a week (or as prescribed on the bottle) may help to prevent the onset of dandruff.
You should brush your hair daily, and wash it at least three times a week. After washing your hair, make sure that you it thoroughly in order to get all of the shampoo out. Avoid using chemicals on your scalp, such as those used in hair colouring.

Additional Reading:

www.mayoclinic.com/health/dandruff

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://our-healthy.blogspot.com/2008/07/dandruffdandruff-no.html' title='Dandruff...Dandruff... !!!! It is a condition that affects women more frequently than men do.
In general, migraine headache is a unilateral and exciting, lasting 4 to 72 hours accompanying complaints are nausea and vomiting and increased sensitivity to bright light (photophobia) and noise (hyperacusis). Approximately one third of people who experience migraine has a precedent in which a patient May sense a strange light or smell unpleasant Patients often describe triggers they feel precipitate an episode of migraine, as some foods and beverages (such as chocolate or alcohol), stress or menstruation. In some types of migraine are typical, but the puzzle still missing, children and abdominal pain May be an important element.

The reasons
Migraine is used to be thought to be caused solely by an increase in the blood circulation to the brain. At present, but it is believed to be the result of a cascade of biochemical events that are usually set in motion by an environmental "trigger". It appears to be a genetic predisposition to the disorder, involving the CNS (central). Joint Migraines-trigger include food products, beverages, chemicals, sunlight, fatigue / stress, and hormone-level fluctuations.

In the brain, a structure called "Hypothalamus" creates more chemicals that communicate with a fundamental part of the brain called the "brainstem." These chemical messenger called "neurotransmitters," and take important chemicals called "Serotonin and noradrenaline. Migraine can often lead to disturbances in the balance of Serotonin in the brain. This may also account for relatively quick mood-swings. Other chemicals involved in brain processes of Migraines include dopamine, tyramine, Histamine, and other chemicals from a chemical family called "amines. In summary, pain-control system of the body appears to malfunction. This system works with the "endorphins," naturally produced chemical opiates - strong sedatives and pain-killers. Some migraine attacks seem to include, as a component, a chemical that is similar to the wasp-gift, an irritant. It reduces the body's pain-tolerance, and make their area of congestion much more sensitive and painful. Estrogen may also be involved, because it produces Prostaglandin, which can cause the blood vessels to expand and expand. Migraine is an autosomal dominant "disorder, which means that a single parent with the illness can pass it on to his / her offspring.

Migraine without aura
This is the most commonly seen form of migraine; patients who primarily suffer from migraine without aura may also have attacks of migraine with aura. According to the International Classification of Headache Disorders[9] it is a recurrent headache disorder manifesting in attacks lasting 4–72 hours. Typical characteristics of the headache are unilateral location, pulsating quality, moderate or severe intensity, aggravation by routine physical activity and association with nausea and/or photophobia and hyperacusis. In order to diagnose migraine without aura, there must have been at least five attacks not attributable to another cause that fulfill the following criteria:
1. Headache attacks lasting 4–72 hours when untreated
2. At least two of the following characteristics:
o Unilateral location
o Pulsating quality
o Moderate or severe pain intensity
o Aggravation by or causing avoidance of routine physical activity
3. During the headache there must be at least one of the following associated symptom clusters:
o Nausea and/or vomiting
o Photophobia and hyperacusis

Where these criteria are not fully met, the problem may be classified as "probable migraine without aura" but other diagnoses such as "episodic tension type headache" must also be considered.

Migraine with aura
This is the second most commonly seen form of migraine: patients who primarily suffer from migraine with aura may also have attacks of migraine without aura. According to the International Classification of Headache Disorders[9] it is a recurrent disorder manifesting in attacks of reversible focal neurological symptoms that usually develop gradually over 5–20 minutes and last for less than 60 minutes. Headache with the features of "migraine without aura" usually follows the aura symptoms. Less commonly, the aura may occur without a subsequent headache or the headache may be non-migrainous in type.
In order to diagnose migraine with aura, there must have been at least two attacks not attributable to another cause that fulfill the following criteria:

1. Aura consisting of at least one of the following, but no muscle weakness or paralysis:
o Fully reversible visual symptoms (e.g. flickering lights, spots, lines, loss of vision)
o Fully reversible sensory symptoms (e.g. pins and needles, numbness)
o Fully reversible dysphasia (speech disturbance)

2. Aura has at least two of the following characteristics:
o Visual symptoms affecting just one side of the field of vision and/or sensory symptoms affecting just one side of the body
o At least one aura symptom develops gradually over more than 5 minutes and/or different aura symptoms occur one after the other over more than 5 minutes
o Each symptom lasts from 5–60 minutes

Where these criteria are not fully met, a diagnosis of "probable migraine with aura" may be considered, although other neurological causes must also be considered. If the picture complies with the criteria but includes one-sided muscular weakness or paralysis, a diagnosis of "sporadic hemiplegic migraine" or "familial hemiplegic migraine" should be considered.

Signs and symptoms
The signs and symptoms of migraine varies between patients. So what a patient experiences before, during and after an attack can not be precisely defined. The four stages of a migraine attack listed below are common but not necessarily experienced by all migraine patients. In addition, the phases experienced and tested them during the symptoms may vary from one to another migraine attack in the same migraineur:
1. The prodrome, which occurs hours or days before the headache
2. The aura, which immediately precedes the headaches
3. The pain phase, also known as headache phase
4. The postdrome

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KmxR72glGZg/SISeVXjpUOI/AAAAAAAAAFA/RtMQhBCok0Q/s200/migrain.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5225475557594583266" />

Prodrome phase
Prodromal symptoms occur in 40 to 60% of migraineurs (people suffering from migraine). This phase consists in May changed mood, irritability, depression, euphoria, fatigue, yawning, excessive sleepiness, thirst of certain foods (for example, chocolate), stiff muscles (especially in the neck), constipation or diarrhea, increased urination, visceral and other symptoms. These symptoms usually precede the headache phase of migraine by several hours or days, and experience teaches the patient or family careful how to detect a migraine is near.

Aura phase
For 20-30% of people who suffer from migraine with aura, this will include focal neurological phenomena which precede or accompany the attack. They appear gradually over 5 to 20 minutes and generally last less than 60 minutes. Phase headache of migraine usually begins within 60 minutes from the end of the phase of the aura, but it is sometimes delayed until several hours, and it may be missing entirely. The symptoms of migraine aura may be visual, sensory, motor or in nature.

Aura visual is the most common neurological manifestations. It is a disturbance of vision usually consisting inform flashes of white and / or black or multicolored lights rarely (photopsia) or formations of dazzling zigzag lines (scotoma glittering often arranged like the ramparts of a castle, Hence the d'autres terms "fortification spectrum" or "teichopsia"). Some patients complain of blurred or shimmering or blurred vision, as if they were looking through thick glass or smoked or, in some cases, tunnel vision and hemianopia. The somatosensory aura of migraine consists of digitolingual Cheiro-oral or paresthesias, a feeling of pins and needles-known in the hand and arm and a nose-mouth area on the same side. Paresthesia migrate arms, then spread to involve the face, lips and tongue.

Other symptoms of the aura phase may include hearing or olfactory hallucinations, dysphasia temporary, dizziness, tingling or numbness of the face and extremities, and hypersensitivity to touch.

Pain phase
The typical migraine is unilateral, nagging, moderate to severe and can be aggravated by physical activity. All these characteristics are necessary. Pain May be bilateral at the beginning or starting on one side and becoming more widespread and, in general, alternate sides of an attack to another. The beginning is generally progressive. The pain of ups and subsidies then, and usually lasts between 4 and 72 hours in adults and 1 and 48 hours in children. The frequency of attacks is extremely variable, some in a life several times a week, and the average migraineur experiences of one to three headaches a month. The head pain varies greatly in intensity.

The pain of migraine is always accompanied by other characteristics. The nausea occurs in about 90 percent of patients, while vomiting occurs in about one third of patients. Many patients experience sensory hyperexcitability manifested by photophobia, Phonophobia, osmophobia and look dark and a rest room. A blurred vision, large nose, diarrhea, polyuria, sweat or paleness May is noted during the headache phase. It will be located May swelling of the scalp or face, scalp tenderness, the importance of a vein or artery in the temple, or stiffness and tenderness in the neck. Impairment of concentration and mood are common. Light, rather than genuine vertigo and a feeling of unease May occur. The ends tend to be cold and wet.

Postdrome phase
The patient May feeling tired, "washed", irritable, listless or May and have the concentration, scalp tenderness or mood swings. Some people feel unusually refreshed or euphoric after an attack, while others note depression and malaise. Often, some of the headache phase of minor symptoms May continue, such as loss of appetite, photophobia, and lightweight. In some patients, 5 to 6 hours nap May reduce pain, but mild headaches May still occur in standing or sitting quickly. Normally, these symptoms disappear after a good night's rest.

Diagnostic
Although there is no single test for migraine, diagnosis is relatively easy for a physician knowledgeable. The diagnosis must include a headache enough depth of history, personal profile and a headache. A complete physical examination is recommended, including blood tests to exclude any other cause. Techniques imaging and a electroencephalograph could be used as such. Some exotic tests are generally not recommended, if they are, ask why. You can also, under certain circumstances, be subject to a specialist, but if so, ask why. These could include orthopedists, ophthalmologists, endocrinologists, allergistsotolaryngologists, gynecologists, rheumatologists, dentists, surgeons or oral. Be careful, and always ask for a complete, thorough explanation satisfactory answers all your questions. Not simply the principle that "the doctor knows best." You are quite right to know, after all, it's your body. The doctor works for you, you do not work for him / her. Discuss completely fears with your doctor.

Migraine is an extremely common condition that affects 12-28% of the population at some point in their lives. However, this figure - the prevalence life - does not provide a clear picture of how many patients are active with migraine at any time. Typically, therefore, the burden of migraine in a population is assessed by looking at a prevalence years - a figure which defines the number of patients who had one or several attacks in the previous year. The third figure, which helps to clarify the situation, the impact is - regarding the number of first attacks occur at a given age and can understand how the disease grows and shrinks over time.

Based on the results of a number of studies, one-year prevalence of migraine ranges from 6-15% of adult men and 14-35% in adult women. These figures vary considerably with age: about 4-5% of children aged under 12 years suffer from migraines, with little apparent difference between boys and girls. It is then a rapid increase in incidence among young girls that occur after puberty, which continues throughout life among young adults. In early middle age, approximately 25% of women suffer from migraine at least once a year, against less than 10% of men. After menopause, attacks against women tend to decline dramatically, so that in 70 years, plus there are approximately equal numbers of men and women patients, with a prevalence of return to about 5%.

At all ages, migraine without aura is more common than migraine with aura, with a ratio of 1.5:1 between 2:1 and incidence figures show that the surplus of migraine saw women of reproductive age is mainly due to migraine without aura. Thus, in pre-pubertal and post-menopausal population, migraine with aura is a little more frequent than among 15-50 years.

There is a strong relationship between age, sex and type of migraine.

Triggers
A migraine trigger is any factor that, on exposure or withdrawal, leads to the development of an acute migraine headache. Triggers may be categorized as behavioral, environmental, infectious, dietary, chemical, or hormonal. In the medical literature, these factors are known as 'precipitants.'

The MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia, for example, offers the following list of migraine triggers:

Migraine attacks may be triggered by:
· Allergic reactions
· Bright lights, loud noises, and certain odors or perfumes
· Physical or emotional stress
· Changes in sleep patterns
· Smoking or exposure to smoke
· Skipping meals
· Alcohol
· Menstrual cycle fluctuations, birth control pills, hormone fluctuations during the menopause transition
· Tension headaches
· Foods containing tyramine (red wine, aged cheese, smoked fish, chicken livers, figs, and some beans), monosodium glutamate (MSG) or nitrates (like bacon, hot dogs, and salami)
· Other foods such as chocolate, nuts, peanut butter, avocado, banana, citrus, onions, dairy products, and fermented or pickled foods.

Sometimes migraine occurs without the appearance of the "cause". The trigger theory assumes that exposure to various environmental factors precipitates, or triggers, episodes of migraine. Migraine patients have long been advised to try to identify triggers of headaches personal research associations between their headaches and various factors suspected trigger and the holding of a "newspaper headaches" migraine recording incidents and food to search for correlations to avoid trigger foods. It is worth mentioning that certain triggers are quantitative in nature, ie, a small block of dark chocolate May not cause migraines, but a half-slab of dark chocolate almost surely a sensible person . Furthermore, be exposed to more than one factor triggering simultaneously over a probable cause of migraines, only a trigger in isolation, for example, drinking and eating food various factors known to trigger a climate hot and humid day, when feeling stressed and having little sleep probably result in a migraine at a sensitive person, but consumption of a single trigger on a cool day, after a good night's rest with a minimum May environmental stress means that the patient will not develop a migraine after all. Migraines can be complex to avoid, while keeping a precise agenda of migraine and make lifestyle changes appropriate may have a very positive effect on the person of the quality of life. Some triggers are almost impossible to avoid, such as weather or emotions, but limiting factors trigger avoidable, May inevitable that have less impact on the patient.

Food
Some suspected dietary trigger factors appear to genuinely promote or precipitate migraine episodes, but many other suspected dietary triggers have never been demonstrated to trigger migraines. The review authors found that alcohol, caffeine withdrawal, and missing meals are the most important dietary migraine precipitants, that dehydration deserved more attention, and that some patients report sensitivity to red wine. Little or no evidence associated notorious suspected triggers like chocolate, cheese, histamine, tyramine, nitrates, or nitrites with migraines. The artificial sweetener aspartame has not been shown to trigger headache, but in a large and definitive study monosodium glutamate (MSG) in large doses (2.5 grams) was associated with adverse symptoms including headache more often than was placebo. The review authors also note that while general dietary restriction has not been demonstrated to be an effective migraine therapy, it is beneficial for the individual to avoid what has been a definite cause of the migraine.
The National Headache Foundation has a specific list of triggers based on the tyramine theory, detailing allowed, with caution and avoid triggers. Spices, tomatoes, sour buttermilk and oily foodstuffs SHOULD BE AVOIDED!!!

Weather
Several studies have found migraines are triggered by changing weather conditions. One study noted 62% of patients thought weather was a factor, but only 51% were sensitive to temperature changes. Among those whose migraines occur during a change of weather, the subjects often took a time change other than weather data recorded. The most likely trigger a migraine were, in order:
1. Temperature mixed with moisture. A high humidity, high or low temperature was the biggest cause.
2. Significant changes in weather conditions
3. Changes in barometric pressure
Another study examined the effects of warm Chinook winds on migraine, with many patients reporting increased incidence of migraines immediately before and / or during the chinook. The number of people reporting migrainous episodes during the chinook winds were higher on the day chinook winds. The probable cause was thought to be an increase in positive ions into the air.

Head of post
A study suggests that migraines can be triggered by the head to be held down for an extended period, as when washing hair in a basin.

Treatment
Conventional treatment focuses on three areas: avoid trigger, symptomatic control, prevention and medicine. Patients who experience migraines are often recommended that the salaries are not 100% effective at preventing migraines, May and sometimes not be effective at all.

Children and adolescents, are often first drug treatment, but the value of modified food should not be overlooked. The simple task to launch a food magazine to help alter the absorption of trigger foods like hot dogs, chocolate, cheese and ice cream could help relieve the symptoms

Avortée treatment
Migraine sufferers usually develop their own coping mechanisms for pain of a migraine attack. Hot or cold water applied to the head, resting in a dark and quiet room or ingesting caffeine at an opportune moment May also be useful for certain drugs for patients.
For patients who were diagnosed with recurrent migraine, migraine abortive medications can be used to treat the attack, May and be more effective if taken sooner, the effectiveness of losing once the attack began. Treating the attack early can often abort before it became serious, and can reduce short-term frequency of subsequent attacks.

Paracetamol or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)
The first line of treatment is over-the-counter medication abortifacient.
Regarding non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, a randomized controlled trial found that naproxen may interrupt approximately one third of migraine attacks, which was 5% less than the benefit of sumatriptan.
Paracetamol, a dose of 1000 mg, have benefited more than half of patients with mild or moderate migraine in a randomized controlled trial.
Simple painkillers combined caffeine May help. During a migraine attack, emptying of the stomach is slowed, resulting in nausea and a delay in the absorption of drugs. Caffeine has been shown in part to reverse this effect, and probably to his advantage. [Change] Excedrin is an example of aspirin a product of caffeine. Caffeine is recognized by the FDA of the USA as a Drug Over The Counter (OTC) treatment for migraine

The patients themselves often start with paracetamol (known as acetaminophen in the USA), aspirin, ibuprofen or other simple analgesics, which are useful for tension headaches. OTC Drugs May provide emergency assistance, even if they are not generally effective for most patients. He is one of the doctors practice diagnoses head of migraine pain when patients say typical OTC drugs "not touch".

Analgesics combined with antiemetics
Anti-emetics by mouth May help relieve symptoms of nausea and help prevent vomiting, which may decrease the effectiveness of analgesia taken orally. In addition, some antiemetics such as metoclopramide are prokinetics and help gastric emptying which is often reduced during episodes of migraine. In the UK there are three combination antiemetic and analgesic preparations available: MigraMax (aspirin with metoclopramide), Migraleve (paracetamol / codeine for pain, with buclizine that the antiemetic) and paracetamol / metoclopramide (Paramax in the United Kingdom) . [55] The sooner these drugs are taken in the attack, the better their effect.
Some patients find relief in taking other sedating antihistamines that have anti-nausea properties, such as Benadryl, which the USA contains diphenhydramine (but another non-sedative product in the United Kingdom).

Additional reading:

http://www.loveministries.org/Articles/Migrain.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migraine

Cholesterol in our Blood

What is cholesterol?

Cholesterol is a fatty substance (a lipid) that is an important part of the shell plating (membrane) of the cells in the body of animals. Cholesterol is also found in human blood circulation. The cholesterol in the blood of a person comes from two major sources; dietary intake and liver production. Dietary cholesterol comes mainly from meat, poultry, fish, and dairy products. Organ meats such as liver, are especially high in cholesterol, while foods of plant origin contain no cholesterol. After a meal, cholesterol is absorbed by the intestine into the bloodstream and is then packaged in a protein coat. This coat-protein complex is called a chylomicron cholesterol.

His body needs some cholesterol to work properly. But if you have much in your blood, it can stick to the walls of your arteries. This is called plaque. Plaque can narrow your arteries or even block them.

The body needs some cholesterol in order to function properly. The body of the cell wall, or membranes, cholesterol and cholesterol need to use the body to produce hormones, vitamin D and the bile acids that help digest the fat. But the body needs only a small amount of cholesterol to meet their needs. When much cholesterol is present, such as health problems can develop coronary heart disease.

Their cholesterol levels tend to rise as the age. What usually there are no signs or symptoms that you have high blood cholesterol, but can be detected with a blood test. You are likely to have high cholesterol if members of your family has, if you are overweight or if you eat a lot of fatty foods.

What is "normal" blood levels of cholesterol?

There is no established "normal" for blood levels of total and LDL cholesterol. In most other blood tests in medicine, is normal can be adjusted by taking measures large number of healthy subjects. For example, normal fasting blood sugar levels can be established by conducting blood tests in healthy subjects without diabetes mellitus. If a patient fasting blood glucose lies in the normal range, he / she most likely does not have diabetes mellitus, whereas if the patient fasting blood sugar tests higher than normal, he / she probably diabetes mellitus and other tests can be performed to confirm the diagnosis. The drugs, like insulin or oral diabetes medications can be prescribed to lower abnormally high blood sugar.

Unfortunately, the normal range of LDL-cholesterol among healthy adults (adults with no known coronary heart disease) in the USA May be too high. The process of atherosclerosis May be quietly progressing in many healthy adults with an average LDL cholesterol blood levels, putting them at risk of developing coronary heart disease in the future.

What is coronary heart disease?

When too much cholesterol is present, plaque (a thick, hard deposit) in May arteries body shape reduces the space for blood to flow to the heart. Over time, this accumulation causes atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) which can lead to heart disease.

When not enough oxygen-carrying blood reaches the heart, chest pain - called angina - can result. If the blood supply to part of the heart is completely cut off by total blockage of a coronary artery, the result is a heart attack. This is usually due to a sudden closure of a blood clot forming above a previous reduction.

Types of cholesterol

The cholesterol circulates in the blood attached to a protein - this cholesterol-protein package is called a lipoprotein. Lipoproteins are classified as high-density, low density or very low density, depending on the amount of protein, it is in contact with grease.

# Lipoproteins low-density (LDL) is called "bad" cholesterol because high levels of LDL cholesterol are associated with an increased risk of coronary heart disease. LDL lipoprotein cholesterol deposits on artery walls, causing the formation of a hard, thick substance called plaque cholesterol. Over time, plaque cholesterol causes a thickening of artery walls and narrowing of the arteries, a process called atherosclerosis.

# Lipoproteins high density (HDL) is called "good cholesterol" because HDL cholesterol particles prevent atherosclerosis by the extraction of cholesterol artery walls and their elimination by the liver. Thus, high levels of LDL cholesterol and low levels of HDL cholesterol (high LDL / HDL rates) are risk factors for atherosclerosis, while the levels of LDL cholesterol and high HDL cholesterol (LDL low / HDL ratios) are desirable.

# Triglycerides or very low cholesterol density lipoprotein (VLDL): As triglycerides are not the same as cholesterol, they are another type of fat that increases the risk of heart disease and is carried in the blood by very low density lipoprotein. Only small amounts of triglycerides is normally found in the blood and most are stored in fatty tissue. VLDL is similar to LDL cholesterol insofar as it contains the most fat and low in protein. A high level of triglycerides, as the rate of high LDL cholesterol, can increase the risk of heart attack.

# The cholesterol HDL cholesterol is the sum total of LDL (low density cholesterol), HDL (high density) cholesterol, VLDL (very low density cholesterol) and IDL (density intermediate) rates cholesterol.

What are LDL / HDL and total HDL ratios?

The total cholesterol to HDL cholesterol rates (chol total / HDL) is a number that is useful for estimating the risk of developing atherosclerosis. The number is obtained by dividing the total cholesterol HDL cholesterol. (High rates indicate a higher risk of heart attack, while low levels indicate a lower risk).
High total cholesterol and low HDL cholesterol level increases the report and is not desirable. The reverse, the high HDL cholesterol and a slight decrease in total cholesterol and the ratio is desirable. An average ratio is about 4.5. Ideally, we should strive ratios of 2 or 3 (less than 4).

What are the factors that affect cholesterol levels?

A variety of factors can affect your cholesterol. They include:

Diet. Saturated fat and cholesterol in the food you eat increase cholesterol.
Weight. In addition to being a risk factor for heart disease, excess weight can also increase your cholesterol. Losing weight can help reduce your total and LDL cholesterol and an increase in HDL cholesterol.

Exercise. Regular exercise can reduce LDL and increase HDL cholesterol. You should try to be physically active for 30 minutes on most days.
The age and sex. As we get older, cholesterol increases. Before menopause, women are often less the total cholesterol than men of similar age. After menopause, women's LDL levels tend to increase.

The heredity. Your genes partly determine how much cholesterol your body makes. High blood cholesterol can run in families.
Among other causes. Some medicines and health status can cause high cholesterol.
A non-fasting cholesterol test show your total cholesterol and May also determine your cholesterol HDL. A cholesterol test on an empty stomach, called a lipid profile or analysis of lipoproteins, will measure your triglycerides, LDL, HDL, and total cholesterol. Doctors recommend your cholesterol levels remain below 200.

The lower LDL cholesterol levels prevent heart attacks and strokes?

Reduce levels of LDL cholesterol is currently the main priority in the prevention of atherosclerosis and heart attacks. Most doctors believe that the benefits of lower levels of LDL cholesterol include:

# The reduction or discontinuation of the formation of new plaques of cholesterol on artery walls;
# Reducing cholesterol plaques on artery walls;
# The expansion reduced arteries;
# To prevent the rupture of plaques of cholesterol, which initiates blood clot.
Training;
# Decreasing the risk of heart attacks and
# Decreasing the risk of strokes. The same measures that retard atherosclerosis in # the coronary arteries also benefit the carotid arteries and brain (arteries that supply blood to the brain).

What are the treatment guidelines for low HDL cholesterol?

In clinical trials involving the lowering of LDL cholesterol, scientists also studied the effect of HDL cholesterol on atherosclerosis and heart attack rates. They found that even small increases in HDL cholesterol could reduce the incidence of heart attacks. For each 1 mg / dl increase in HDL cholesterol, it is 2 to 4% reduced risk of coronary heart disease. Although there is no NCEP (please see discussion above) target treatment levels of HDL cholesterol, an HDL level of <40 style="font-weight: bold;">How do I get my cholesterol levels lower and reduce my risk of cardiovascular disease?

To reduce your cholesterol and reduce your risk of heart disease, you should:

# Eat low cholesterol fat. The American Heart Association recommends that you limit your average daily cholesterol intake below 300 milligrams. If you have heart disease, limit your daily intake to less than 200 milligrams. People can significantly reduce their cholesterol food intake by keeping their dietary intake low in saturated fat and avoiding foods that are rich in saturated fats and contain significant amounts of dietary cholesterol.
# Eat more fruits and vegetables.
# Stop smoking. Smoking reduces HDL ( "good" cholesterol). This trend can be reversed if you stop smoking.
# Exercises. The exercise can result in weight loss. The overweight or obese leads to an increase in triglycerides and a decrease in HDL cholesterol. Among those who are inactive. HDL is generally low. Exercise and physical activity increases HDL cholesterol in some people. Even moderate-intensity, if done daily, can help control weight, diabetes and hypertension - all risk factors for heart disease.
# Taking medication to lower your cholesterol. Sometimes, to make changes to your diet and exercise more is not enough to bring your cholesterol. May You also need to take a drug reducing cholesterol.

What Drugs Are Used to Treat High Cholesterol?
Cholesterol-lowering drugs include:
· Statins
· Niacin
· Bile-acid resins
· Ezetimibe
Cholesterol-lowering medicine is most effective when combined with a low-cholesterol diet.

Additional reading:

http://diabetes.webmd.com/cholesterol-screening?page=3

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/cholesterol.html

Hui, Y. Green tea is a native of China and became a partner in many cultures in Asia by Japan in the Middle East. Recently, it is increasingly prevalent in the West, where traditionally black tea is consumed. Many varieties of green tea have been established in countries where it is grown, which may differ considerably because of conditions increasingly variable, treatment and harvest time. During recent decades, green tea began to be subjected to many scientific and medical studies to determine the extent of its alleged long health benefits, with evidence suggesting regular green tea drinkers May under chances of heart disease and the development of certain types of cancer [1].

Is any other food or drink would have as many health benefits as green tea? The Chinese have known medicinal benefits of green tea since ancient times, with any treatment for headaches to depression. In his book Green Tea: The Natural Secret for a Healthier Life, Nadine Taylor states that green tea has been used as medicine in China since at least 4000 years.
Today, scientific research in Asia and the west is providing evidence for health benefits long associated with drinking green tea. For example, in 1994, the Journal of the National Cancer Institute published the results of an epidemiological study indicating that drinking green tea reduced the risk of esophageal cancer in Chinese men and women by nearly sixty per cent. Purdue University researchers recently concluded that a compound in green tea inhibits the growth of cancer cells. There is also research indicating that drinking green tea lowers total cholesterol and improving the ratio of good (HDL) cholesterol to bad (LDL) cholesterol.
To sum up, here are some medical conditions in which drinking green tea is reputed to be useful:
# Cancer
# Rheumatoid Arthritis
# The high cholesterol
# Cariovascular disease
# The infection
# Impaired immune function

What makes green tea so special?

The secret of green tea lies in the fact that it is rich in catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG is a powerful anti-oxidant: besides inhibiting the growth of cancer cells, it kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue. It has also been effective in reducing levels of LDL cholesterol, and inhibiting the formation of abnormal blood clots. The latter takes on added importance if we consider that thrombosis (formation of abnormal blood clots) is the leading cause of heart attacks and stroke.

The links are underway between the effects of drinking green tea and the "French Paradox". For years, researchers were surprised by the fact that, despite consuming a diet rich in fat, the French have a lower incidence of heart disease than Americans. The answer was found to lie in red wine, which contains resveratrol, a polyphenol that limits the negative effects of smoking and a fatty. In a 1997 study, researchers from the University of Kansas determined that EGCG is twice as powerful as resveratrol, May explain why the rate of heart disease among Japanese men is very low, even though approximately seventy five percent are smokers.

Health Benefits

Green tea is particularly rich in promoting the health of flavonoids (which represent 30% of the dry weight of a leaf), including Catechine and their derivatives. The most abundant catechin in green tea is epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), which is thought to play a central role in the green tea antioxidant and anticancer effects. Catéchines should be considered alongside the best-known law antioxidants like vitamins E and C as powerful scavengers of free radicals and health support for this reason.

Most research showing the health benefits of green tea is based on the amount of green tea typically consumed in Asian countries-about 3 cups per day (which would give 240-320 mg of polyphenols). Just a cup of green tea supplies 20-35 mg EGCG, which has the highest antioxidant activity of all green tea catechins.

The green tea drinkers seem to have less risk for a wide range of diseases, ranging from simple bacterial or viral infections chronic degenerative diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, stroke, periodontal disease and osteoporosis.

Recent studies provide a better understanding of how green tea:
^ Protects against death from all causes, particularly cardiovascular disease.

^ Protects against Coronary Artery Disease
A rise in the quantity of free radicals in the arteries is a key event in many forms of cardiovascular disease. The latest research shows that green tea catechins inhibit enzymes involved in the production of free radicals in the endothelial lining of arteries. The arterial endothelium is a cell-thick coating which serves as an interface between the bloodstream and lining of the artery where the plates can be formed. By protecting the endothelium damage from free radicals, green tea catechins help prevent the development of cardiovascular disease.

^ Inhibits Atherosclerosis
Green tea has been shown to effectively lower risk of atherosclerosis by reducing LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, the lipid peroxides (free radicals that damage LDL cholesterol and other lipids, or fats) and fibrinogen (a protein in the blood involved in the formation of blood clots), while improving the levels of LDL (bad) HDL (good cholesterol).

^ Special Benefits for Persons with High Triglycerides
A series of experiments revealed that the mix of catechins naturally found in green tea dose-dependently inhibit the activity of pancreatic lipase, the enzyme secreted by the pancreas that digests fat. As a result, the rate at which the body breaks down of fats into triglycerides, and the rise of triglyceride levels in the bloodstream that occurs after meals, is greatly slowed.
Since a large rise in blood levels of triglycerides after a meal is a significant risk factor for coronary heart disease, drinking a cup of two green tea along with your meals is a good idea, especially if your triglyceride levels are higher than normal.

^ Thins the Blood and Helps Prevent Blood Clots

^ Protects against Cancer
aboratoire cell culture studies show that green tea polyphenols are powerful triggers apoptosis (cell suicide) and stopping the cell cycle in cancer but not in normal cells. (Cell cycling is the process through cells will divide and reproduce.)
These anti-cancer actions were assumed to be due to the powerful antioxidant effects of green tea catechins, particularly epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). It is a reasonable assumption, given that a number of studies have shown that green tea has antioxidant properties remarkable. In a study published in November 2004 of Mutation Research, EGCG antioxidant protection against several carcinogenic effects were found in 120% higher than those of vitamin C.
But while green tea antioxidant of the feat is impressive, recent studies show it is by no means the only way in which this multi-talented beverage protects us against cancer.

^ Protects the Liver from Alcohol and Other Harmful Chemicals

^ Promotes Fat Loss

^ Green Tea Fights the Flu
A cup of green tea may help prevent or lessen the duration of the flu. In a lab study, published in the November 2005 issue of Antiviral Research, EGCG dramatically inhibited influenza virus replication in cell culture in all the subtypes of influenza virus tested. EGCG appears to suppress viral RNA synthesis by altering the properties of the viral membrane.

Additional reading:

http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=146
http://chinesefood.about.com/library/weekly/aa011400b.htm

ACNE

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KmxR72glGZg/SIH-hJmRF4I/AAAAAAAAAEM/8ZbU1RcYubU/s200/teenaged-girl-with-acne.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224736888192046978" />

What acne? </ Span>

Acne is not just a problem for teenagers, it can have an impact on people ages 10 to 40. It is not uncommon for women, in particular, to develop acne in their mid to late 20 years, even if they have not had in years buttons (or ever). Acne can appear as one of the following;
Pores congested,
Whiteheads,
Blacks,
Buttons,
Pustules or
Cyst (deep buttons).

These spots occur anywhere there is plenty of oil (sebaceous) glands, mainly on the face, chest and back.
You can do a lot to deal with your acne products available at a pharmacy or cosmetics cons, which do not require a prescription. However, in more severe cases of acne, you should consult a doctor.

What causes acne? </ Span>

No one factor causes acne. Acne occurs when the oil (sebaceous) glands come to life around puberty stimulated by male hormones from the adrenal glands of boys and girls. Oil is a natural substance that lubricates and protects the skin and, in certain circumstances, the cells that are close to the surface to block the opening of the sebaceous glands, causing an accumulation of oil below. This oil stimulates bacteria, (who live in the skin of everyone and, in general, not to cause problems), to multiply and cause surrounding tissues to become inflamed.
If the inflammation is very close to the surface, you get a pustule, it is deeper, a papule (button); even deeper and it is a cyst. If oil breaks if the surface, the result is a "Whitehead." If the oil is oxidized (that is acted by oxygen in the air), oil changes from white to black, and the result is a "black spots".

Among the factors that generally does not cause acne, at least by themselves are as follows:
Heredity: with the exception of very severe acne, most people do not have the problem exactly like their parents. Almost everyone has some acne at some point in their lives.
Food: All over the world, parents tell teens to avoid pizza, chocolate, fatty and fried foods and junk food. Although these foods May not be good for general health, they do not cause acne or make it worse.
Dirt: Some people have more "bold" skin than others (as mentioned above, "Blackheads" are oxidized oil, not dirt). Sweat does not cause acne, it is not necessary to shower immediately after exercise for fear that not sweat pores. On the other hand, excessive washing and hair can irritate the skin.
Stress: Some people are so upset by the buttons they choose and make them last longer. The stress, however, does not play much of a direct role in causing acne.
. Hormones: Some women leave cyclical, but most women (and men) are not. Some oral contraceptive pills May help relieve acne, but unless the woman has abnormal menstrual periods and excessive hair growth, it is unlikely that hormones play a major role in causing acne.
Cosmetics: Most cosmetic products and skin care are not clog pores ( "comedogenic.") Among the many brands available, those listed as "water-based" or "without oil" are generally a better choice.
Occasionally patients, contributing factors May:
Pressure: In some patients, the pressure helmets, chinstraps, necklaces, and others can aggravate acne.
Medications: Certain medications May cause or aggravate acne, such as those that contain iodides, bromides, or oral or injected steroids (prednisone medically prescribed steroids or athletes or bodybuilders.) Most cases of the acne, however, are not drug related.
Professions: In some jobs, exposure to industrial products such as cutting oil May produce acne.
What other skin diseases can mimic acne?
Rosacea: This condition is characterized by buttons in the middle third of the face, with redness, flushing, blood vessels and superficial. It generally affects people in their 30 and 40 years and older. Sometimes it is not "line" separating acne rosacea, however, there is no black spots or whiteheads rosacea. For more information, please read the article rosacea.
Pseudofolliculitis: This is sometimes called "razor bumps" or "razor rash." When cut near the skin, curly hair neck bend under the skin and produce buttons. It is a mechanical problem, not a bacterium, and treatment means less shaving (increasingly a beard, laser hair removal.) Pseudofolliculitis may, of course, occur in patients who have acne

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KmxR72glGZg/SIH-ZFh5ZoI/AAAAAAAAAD8/jb2AsBFZFQU/s200/acne_cure_vitamin.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224736749661021826" />

When should you begin to treat acne?
</ Span>

Since acne entire world at a given moment, there is no "correct" the time to deal with. The best advice is to take action when you think it is out of control. This can be serious when acne flares suddenly, acne light that will not go away, or even if a single button decides to present the week before your wedding or prom. The decision is yours.

What can you do about acne by yourself? </ Span>

Consider the three basic causes of acne, and you can understand why the focus of both home treatment and therapy prescription is: (1) unclog pores, (2) kill bacteria and (3 ) To reduce oil. But first a word. . .
Lifestyle: moderation and regularity are good things, but not everyone can sleep eight hours, eat three good meals, beverages and eight glasses of water per day. However, you can always control your acne, even if your routine is hectic and unpredictable. Probably the most useful lifestyle change, you can do is to apply warm compresses to pustules and cysts, for the face (see below), and never choose buttons or pressure. Playing with buttons, whatever care and you are clean, almost always bumps and stay red bumpier. People often refer to redness "scars" but fortunately it is usually not in the sense permanent. It's just a mark that takes months to disappear completely if it remains isolated.

Open pores
The cleaning and skin care: Despite what you read in a popular style and fashion magazines, there is no magic product or regime that suits each person and situation.

Cleaners mild wash once or twice a day with a mild cleansing bar or liquid (for example, Dove, Neutrogena, basic, objective and Cetaphil are all cheap and popular) will keep skin clean and reduce the sensitivity and irritation.

Scrub cleansers and masks: a variety of soft scrub, exfoliating and masks can be used. These products contain either fine granules or salicylic acid in a concentration which makes it a very mild peeling agent. These products remove the outer layer of skin, and thus open the pores.

Retinol: Not to be confused with prescription medications, Retin-A, this derivative of vitamin A can help promote skin peeling.
Killing the bacteria

Cleaners antibacterials: Most popular ingredient in over-the-counter antibacterial cleaners is benzoyl peroxide.

Topique (external) applications: These products come in the form of gels, creams and lotions, which are applied to the affected area. The active ingredients that kill bacteria surface benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, and resorcinol. Some brands promoted on the Internet and cable television are more expensive, but not really better than the ones you can buy at pharmacies.
Benzoyl peroxide and causes red scaly skin allergies in a small number of people who disappeared as soon as you stop using the product. Keep in mind that benzoyl peroxide is a bleach, we must not allow products containing benzoyl peroxide get on your right color clothes, shirts and towels.

Reduce Oil </ span>

You can not stop your sebaceous glands of oil production (unless you mess with your metabolism or hormones in a way that you should not.). Even isotretinoin (Accutane - see below) would slow down the sebaceous glands for some time, they come back to life later. What you can do is get rid of oil on the surface of the skin, and reduce the embarrassing shine.

Use a mild astringent / toner to wipe the oil. (There are many brands available in pharmacies, and manufacturers of cosmetics lines.)

Products containing glycolic acid or any of the other alpha-hydroxy acids are also of little use in clearing the skin causing the top layer of skin to peel (exfoliate).

Masks containing sulphur and other ingredients draw facial oil.
Antibacterial blocks containing benzoyl peroxide have the added advantage to help you wipe the oil.

What are other things you can do to acne?
Cosmetics: Do not be afraid to hide blemishes with flesh tones cover-up or even groundless, as it is water-based or oil-free. There are many quality products available.

Face: Although not absolutely essential, and steam "deep cleaning" of pores is useful, both alone and in addition to medical treatment, particularly for people with "whiteheads" or "points black. " Having these pores unclogged by a professional also reduces the temptation to do so yourself.

Pore Strips: Pharmacies now proceed, through a variety of brand names, bands that you put on your nose, forehead, chin, etc. "withdraw" the oil of your pores. It is, indeed, a do-it-yourself facial. They are inexpensive and safe, and work reasonably well if it is used properly. What is a good basis skin regime?

They are all good basic schemes that skin May help fight acne:
1.Cleanse twice a day with a 5% benzoyl peroxide wash. An alternative for those who are allergic to benzoyl peroxide is 2% salicylic acid.
2.Apply a gel or cream containing 5% benzoyl peroxide, an alternative is sulphur or resorcinol.
3.At night, apply a cream containing sulfur in the affected areas.
4.Utilisez a skinned oil-free moisturizer and makeup

YOGHURT

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_KmxR72glGZg/SIH7QyNd3NI/AAAAAAAAADs/IchqtxkSrUQ/s200/800px-Yoghurt_in_bowl.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224733308501220562" />

What is yogurt? </ Span>

Yogurt is produced by the fermentation of milk by two types of bacteria (Lactobacillus sp. And Streptococcus sp.). The sugar in the milk (the so-called lactose) is fermented to acid (lactic acid), and it is that these causes of quark characteristic form. The acid also restricts the growth of bacterial food poisoning and some spoilage bacteria. Also, whereas milk is a potential source of food poisoning and only has a shelf-life of only a few days, yogurt is safer and can be stored up to ten days, under proper storage conditions.

product variants </ span>

Yogurt can be either moved or terminated. Yogurt stirred fermented in bulk, stirred and then abandoned in pots or sold in the client container. Set yogurt is made by pouring the milk inoculated in pots and cooking in the pot. Fruit and nuts can be added toeach type but caution is needed to ensure that they are thoroughly cleaned and blanched to avoid contamination.
In some countries a layer of fruit syrup in the top row of yogurt is a popular alternative. In other places, thick yogurt stirred preferred. This can be achieved by adding dried skimmed milk (about 50g / l) to the pasteurizing milk. The use of other thickening agents such as starch and pectin is also possible, but usually unnecessary.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_KmxR72glGZg/SIH6uo_onJI/AAAAAAAAADc/aFbMQPOCMl0/s200/yoghurt.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5224732721911733394" />

Yogurt strengthens and stabilizes the immune system </ span>

The lactobacillus yogurt feeds into the intestines, maximizes nutrients can in your body, assured the digestive system remains healthy, and stabilize the immune system.

"Yoghurt has strong medicinal properties, including the ability to stimulate the immune system and kill bad" bugs "or bacteria in the human intestine. ... There are five types, each with unique signs and symptoms. Between 10% and 30% of people who develop psoriasis get a related form of arthritis called “psoriatic arthritis,” which causes inflammation of the joints.

The other types are guttate psoriasis (small, red spots on the skin),
pustular psoriasis (white pustules surrounded by red skin), inverse psoriasis (smooth, red lesions form in skin folds), and erythrodermic psoriasis (widespread redness, severe itching, and pain).

Regardless of type, psoriasis usually causes discomfort. The skin often itches, and it may crack and bleed. In severe cases, the itching and discomfort may keep a person awake at night, and the pain can make everyday tasks difficult.

Psoriasis commonly affects the skin of the elbows, knees, scalp, and ears.

Psoriasis is considered a long-term (chronic) skin condition. It has a variable course with periodic ups and downs. Sometimes psoriasis may clear for years and stay in remission. Some people have worsening of their symptoms in the colder winter months. Many people report improvement in warmer months, climates, or with increased sunlight exposure.

Psoriasis is seen worldwide, in all races, and both sexes. Although psoriasis can be seen in people of any age, from babies to seniors, most commonly patients are first diagnosed in their early adult years.

Patients with more severe psoriasis may have social embarrassment, job stress, emotional distress, and other personal issues because of the appearance of their skin.

What causes psoriasis?

Psoriasis may be one of the oldest recorded skin conditions. It was probably first described around 35 AD. Some evidence indicates an even earlier date. Yet, until recently, little was known about psoriasis.

While scientists still do not fully know what causes psoriasis, research has significantly advanced our understanding. One important breakthrough began with the discovery that kidney-transplant recipients who had psoriasis experienced clearing when taking cyclosporine. Since cyclosporine is a potent immunosuppressive medication, this indicates that the immune system is involved.

What does psoriasis look like? What are the symptoms?

Psoriasis typically looks like red or pink areas of thickened, raised, and dry skin. It classically affects areas over the elbows, knees, and scalp. Essentially any body area may be involved. It tends to be more common in areas of trauma, repeat rubbing, use, or abrasions.

Psoriasis has many different appearances. It may be small flattened bumps, large thick plaques of raised skin, red patches, and pink mildly dry skin to big flakes of dry skin that flake off.

There are several different types of psoriasis including psoriasis vulgaris (common type), guttate psoriasis (small, drop like spots), inverse psoriasis (in the folds like of the underarms, navel, and buttocks), and pustular psoriasis (liquid-filled yellowish small blisters).

Sometimes pulling of one of these small dry white flakes of skin causes a tiny blood spot on the skin. This is medically referred to as a special diagnostic sign in psoriasis called the Auspitz sign.

Genital lesions especially on the head of the penis are common. Psoriasis in moist areas like the navel or area between the buttocks (intergluteal folds) may look like flat red patches. These atypical appearances may be confused with other skin conditions like fungal infections, yeast infections, skin irritation, or bacterial Staph infections.

On the nails, it can look like very small pits (pinpoint depressions or white spots on the nail) or as larger yellowish-brown separations of the nail bed called "oil spots." Nail psoriasis may be confused with and incorrectly diagnosed as a fungal nail infection.

On the scalp, it may look like severe dandruff with dry flakes and red areas of skin. It may be difficult to tell the difference between scalp psoriasis and seborrhea (dandruff). However, the treatment is often very similar for both conditions.

How is psoriasis treated?

Steroids (Cortisone) — Cortisone is a medication that reduces inflammation. Cortisone creams, ointments, and lotions may clear the skin temporarily and control the condition in many patients. Weaker preparations should be used on more sensitive areas of the body such as the genitals and face. Stronger preparations will usually be needed to control lesions on the scalp, elbows, knees, palms, soles, and parts of the torso. Dressings may sometimes be applied to enhance the effectiveness of the medication. These must be used cautiously and with your dermatologist’s instruction. Side effects of the stronger cortisone preparations include thinning of the skin, dilated blood vessels, bruising, and skin color changes. Stopping these medications suddenly may result in a flare-up of the disease. After many months of treatment, the psoriasis may become resistant to the steroid preparations.

Your dermatologist may inject cortisone in difficult-to-treat spots. These injections must be used in very small amounts to avoid side effects.

Scalp Treatment — The treatment for psoriasis of the scalp depends on the seriousness of the disease, hair length, and the patient’s lifestyle. A variety of non-prescription and prescription shampoos, oils, solutions, foams, and sprays are available. Most contain coal tar or cortisone. Salicylic and lactic acid preperations may be used to remove the scale. The patient must take care to avoid harsh shampooing and scratching the scalp.

Anthralin — This is a medication that works well on tough-to-treat thick patches of psoriasis. It can cause irritation and temporary staining of the skin and clothes. Newer preparations and methods of treatment have lessened these side effects.

Vitamin D — Synthetic vitamin D analogue (calcipotriene), is useful for individuals with localized psoriasis and can be used with other treatments. Limited amounts should be used to avoid side effects. Ordinary vitamin D, as one would buy in a drug store or health food store, is of no value in treating psoriasis.

Retinoids — Prescription vitamin A-related gels, creams (tazarotene), and oral medications (isotrentinoin, acitretin) may be used alone or in combination with topical steroids for treatment of localized psoriasis. Women who are, or may become pregnant should not use topical or oral retinoids.

Coal Tar — For more than l00 years, coal tar has been used to treat psoriasis. Today’s products are greatly improved and less messy. Stronger prescriptions can be made specifically to treat difficult areas.

Goeckerman Treatment — This therapy is named after the Mayo Clinic dermatologist who first reported it in 1925. Combining coal tar dressings and ultraviolet light, it is used for patients with severe psoriasis. The treatment is performed daily in specialized centers. Ultraviolet exposure times vary with the kind of psoriasis and the sensitivity of the patient’s skin.

Light Therapy — Sunlight and ultraviolet light slow the rapid growth of skin cells. Although ultraviolet light or sunlight can cause skin wrinkling, eye damage, and skin cancer, light treatment is safe and effective under a doctor’s care. People with psoriasis all over their bodies may require treatment in a medically approved center equipped with light boxes for full body exposure. Psoriasis patients who live in warm climates may be directed to carefully sunbathe. Seek the advice of your dermatologist before self-treating with natural or artificial sunlight.

Ultraviolet light B (UVB) — This treatment involves exposing the skin to a wavelength of ultraviolet light called UVB. It may be used alone or in combination with topical or systemic treatments. UVB is administered with a light box that surrounds the patient or a light panel in front of which the patient stands. It takes about 24 treatments over a two month period for clearing to occur. A new type of UVB treatment called “narrow-band” UVB may be used if patients do not respond to broadband UVB. Although UVB is very safe and effective, it does have possible side effects that include burns, freckling, and aging. Risks of skin cancer appear to be no greater than those caused by sun exposure.

PUVA — When psoriasis has not responded to other treatments or is widespread, PUVA is effective in approximately 85% of cases. Patients are given a drug called psoralen which may be taken orally or applied to the psoriasis and then exposed to a carefully measured amount of a special form of ultraviolet (UVA) light. The treatment name comes from “psoralen + UVA,” the two factors involved. It takes approximately 25 treatments, over a two or three month period, before clearing occurs. About 30-40 treatments a year are usually required to keep the psoriasis under control. Because psoralen remains in the lens of the eye, patients must wear UVA blocking eyeglasses when exposed to sunlight from the time the psoralen is taken until sunset that day. PUVA treatments over a long period increase the risk of skin aging, freckling, and skin cancer. Dermatologists and their staff must monitor PUVA treatment very carefully.

Methotrexate — This is an oral anti-cancer drug that can produce dramatic clearing of psoriasis when other treatments have failed. Because it can cause side effects, particularly liver disease, regular blood tests are performed. Chest x-rays and occasional liver biopsies may be required. Other side effects include upset stomach, nausea, and dizziness. Methotrexate should not be used by pregnant women, or by men and women who are trying to conceive a child. Conception should be avoided for at least 12 weeks after stopping methotrexate. Alcoholic beverages should not be consumed if using methotrexate.

Retinoids — Prescription oral vitamin
A-related drugs may be prescribed alone or in combination with ultraviolet light for severe cases of psoriasis. Side effects include dryness of the skin, lips, and eyes; elevation of fat levels in the blood (cholesterol and triglycerides); and formation of tiny bone spurs. Oral retinoids should not be used by pregnant women, or women who intend to become pregnant during or within three years of discontinuation of therapy, as birth defects may result. Close monitoring is required together with regular blood tests.

Cyclosporine — This is an immunosuppressant drug used to prevent rejection of transplanted organs (liver and kidneys). It is used for treatment of widespread psoriasis when other methods have failed. Because of potential effects on the kidneys and blood pressure, close medical monitoring is required together with regular blood tests.

Additional Reading

www.newlookskincare.com/psoriasis-treatment.html

http://www.skincarephysicians.com/psoriasisnet/whatis.html

http://www.AAD.org

http://www.psoriasis.org/home/

Vegetables in Our Menu

Vegetable are ssource of vitamis , minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, fiber and other nutrients between. When we see a threatening situation, rapid signals immediately stimulate the adrenal glands to produce adrenaline resulting in more rapid breathing, glucose to be released in the body provided for additional fuel, tensing muscles, blood and 'thickening dilating eyes.

Symptoms of stress include lethargy, headaches, irritability, changes in appetite, memory loss, low self-esteem, behavioral changes, cold hands, grinding of teeth, imsomnia disorders, digestive problems, high blood prssure, twiches nervous, low libido. Anxiety attracks panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobic disorders are some of the most serious manifestations. In addition, the worst part of stress, which is then sometimes do not even know we are stressed because we are so accustomed to live with it day after day it clear of another disease

What is the effect of stress?

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_KmxR72glGZg/SHyFuV9ae6I/AAAAAAAAAC4/AJQsqTWuVAA/s200/stress1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5223196699058142114" />

Stress can often lead to nutritional deficiencies. Increasing production of adrenal hormones cause the body to speed up the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates quickly to produce energy for the body resulting in a decrease of many essential nutrients and the body can not absorb nutrients from foods during periods of stress.

If someone is constantly under stress, the extra energy that is produced is removed from the body functions of maintenance and repair and chronic fatigue settles To add more, stimulants such as coffee, tea, chocolate, sugary drinks, alcohol, cigarettes and even create additional anxiety drugs long term.

Help your digestion

Stress suppresses the immune system and promotes inflammation resulting in the gastro-intestinal infections and inflammation. The digestion and immunity are the first to suffer in times of stress. That is why, when meals if you are upset, most often you get stomachache and are also more prone to colds and infections. Also, stress aggravates the lining of the digestive system by destroying its layers of protection allowing all types of harmful chemicals in food to enter the bloodstream. This inability is due to a lack of the enzyme lactase, which are normally produced by cells lining the small intestine. Lactase breaks down milk sugar into simpler forms that can then be absorbed into the bloodstream. When there is not enough lactase to digest the amount of lactose consumed, the results, but generally not dangerous, can be very painful. While all people with lactase have symptoms, those who are considered to be lactose intolerant.

Symptoms include nausea, stomach cramps, bloating, gas and diarrhea that begin about 30 minutes to 2 hours after eating or drinking food containing lactose. The severity of symptoms varies depending on the amount of lactose each individual can tolerate. The diarrhoea, abdominal distention, cramps, flatulence and general discomfort May be caused by lactose intolerance in some patients. In the past patients have been instructed to remove milk from their diet and see if it had an effect.

What is hidden lactose?

Although milk and foods made from milk is the only natural sources, lactose is often added to prepared food. People with very low tolerance for lactose should be aware of the many foods that contain lactose in May, even in small quantities. Food products containing lactose may include:
Bread and biscuits
Re breakfast cereals.
Instant potatoes, soups, beverages and breakfast.
Margarine.
Lunch meat (other than kosher)
Dressing.
Candy and other snacks
Mixes for pancakes, biscuits and cookies.

Some felt nondairy products such as coffee powder and whipped cream toppings, including ingredients that are derived from milk, and therefore contain lactose.

Smart buyers learn to read food labels carefully, looking not only for milk and lactose between the content, but also for words like whey, curds, milk by-products, milk and nonfat milk powder. If any of them are listed on a label, the question contains lactose.

In addition, lactose is used as a base for more than 20 percent of prescription drugs and about 6 percent more-the-counter medications. Many forms of contraceptive pills, for example, contain lactose, which some tablets for stomach acid and gas. But these products generally affects only people with severe lactose intolerance.

How lactose intolerance is diagnosed?

Usually, the tests used to measure the absorption of lactose in the digestive system, the test of lactose tolerance, hydrogen breath test and stool acidity test.

The test for lactose tolerance begins with the individual fasting (not eating), before the test, then drink a liquid that contains lactose. More blood samples are taken over a period of 2 hours to measure the person's blood glucose (blood sugar), which indicates how well the body is able to digest lactose.

When lactose when the digestive system, the lactase enzyme lactase breaks down into glucose and galactose. The liver then change the galactose into glucose, which enters the bloodstream and increases the person's blood glucose levels. If lactose is not completely broken blood sugar levels are not increased, and a diagnosis of lactose intolerance is confirmed. The hydrogen breath test measures the amount of hydrogen in the weather. As a general rule, very little hydrogen can be detected in the breath. But undigested lactose in the colon is fermented by bacteria and various gases, including hydrogen, is produced. Hydrogen is absorbed in the intestine, carried by the blood to the lungs, and expired. In the test, the patient drinks a lactose-loaded beverages, and the weather is reviewed periodically. Elevated levels of hydrogen in the breath indicate poor digestion of lactose. Some foods, medicines and cigarettes can affect the accuracy of the test and should be avoided before taking the test. This test is available for children and adults, but not for infants and very young children.A heavy lactose May be dangerous for very young people, because they are more prone to dehydration, which can result from diarrhea caused by lactose. If a child or young child knows the symptoms of lactose intolerance, many Pediatrics recommends simply changing a cow's milk and soy is expected to reduce the symptoms.
A stool acidity test, which measures the amount of acid in faeces, can be given to infants and young children. Not digested lactose fermented by bacteria in the colon creates lactic acid and other short-chain fatty acids that can be detected in a stool sample. In addition, glucose May be present in the sample as a result of unabsorbed lactose in the colon

How to treated with lactose intolerance?

Lactose intolerance is relatively easy to treat. No treatment exists to improve the body's ability to produce lactase, but the symptoms can be controlled through diet.
§ Young children with lactase deficiency should not eat any food containing lactose. Most children and adults need not avoid completely lactose, but individuals differ in the amount of lactose they can handle. Dietary control of lactose intolerance depends on each person of learning through trial and error how much lactose, he or she can manage. For those who react to very small amounts of lactose or have difficulty in reducing their consumption of food containing lactose, lactase enzyme is available without a prescription. One form is a liquid for use with milk. A few drops are added to a litre of milk, and after 24 hours in the refrigerator, the lactose content is reduced by 70 per cent. The process works faster if the milk is heated in the first place, and adding a double amount of lactase liquid milk product that is 90 percent lactose.

-- More recently, the development is a chewable tablet lactase enzyme that helps people digest solid foods that contain lactose. Lactose reduced milk and other products are available in many supermarkets. The milk contains all the nutrients found in milk and remains fresh for about the same time, or if it is super-pasteurized.

--Eat drink probiotic

--Drink soya milk

Why we can consume Soymilk? Because it is a quantity of food with milk.

Additional Readings

Ihekoronye, A.I dan Po Ngoddy, 1985.
